Hiring Project Outreach Coordinator - Boise, Idaho

Please see the below job description for the Bruneau-Owyhee Sage-Grouse Habitat (BOSH) Project Outreach Coordinator position in Boise, Idaho with Pheasants Forever & Quail Forever. This is a collaborative position serving the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), Idaho Governor’s Office of Species Conservation (OSC), Idaho Department of Fish and Game (IDFG), Idaho Department of Lands (IDL), Intermountain West Joint Venture (IWJV), and Pheasants Forever (PF).  Position responsibility will be to further the delivery and implementation of conservation efforts of the Boise District BLM and collaborative partners through range and wildlife technical assistance targeting conservation efforts on public and private lands.  This is a full time, 3-year position with the incumbent being an employee of Pheasants Forever Inc.  Daily supervision, instruction and leadership will be provided by the Boise District, BLM Fuels Program Lead. This position will be located in Boise, Idaho and will require travel throughout the Boise BLM district.  The incumbent is expected to work closely with BLM, USFWS, OSC, IDFG, IDL, IWJV, Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), private landowners and other stakeholders in the region. The application deadline is Tuesday, May 5, 2020.
